I Am Who I am
Read and repeated many a time
My herbal solace, spearmint and thyme
A complex implacable unpierceable, yet wholly a sham

I find myself in wonder
At esteem sunder’d
Though peers resonate
I am wrought with distaste
Mirror cracked
Profile unbacked

I don’t know, truly.
Am I who I am?
The warrior or the sacrificial lamb?
I find myself duly

Lost.
Storm-toss’d
Star-cross’d

But when stars reflect onto shimmering abyss, how am I to know?
I miss the radiant reflection- is it really reality? Although-
There is doubt. The uneasy feeling.
No good to dwell; once more, I’m sealing.

I am. Away.
Lost macabre fae.

Au revoir, midnight reservoir.
